Will Solana Overtake Ethereum?

Solana's theoretical throughput of 65,000 TPS (with Firedancer targeting 1M+ TPS) dwarfs Ethereum mainnet's ~15 TPS. In practice, Solana processes 3,000-5,000 TPS daily versus Ethereum's 15-30 TPS. However, Ethereum's L2 ecosystem (Arbitrum, Base, Optimism) now collectively processes over 10M daily transactions, significantly narrowing the practical throughput gap.
